Last updated: 27 October 2026
1. Who is responsible
The controller of your personal data is Rafael Marcelo Pinto de Jesus, trading as Seamline, Rua 24 de Junho 672, 4800-076 Guimarães, Portugal, tax number (NIF) 267230028. Contact: hello@seamline.pt.
2. What data we process and why
- Email contact. When you write to us, we process your name, email address and the content of your message to answer you. Legal basis: steps prior to a contract or our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
- Booking a call. When you book a call through our booking page, provided by Google (Google Calendar appointment schedules), we receive your name, email address, the time you chose and any notes you add. Legal basis: steps prior to a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Google processes this data under its own terms and privacy policy.
- Chat assistant. When you use the chat on this website, your messages are sent to Cloudflare (Workers AI) to generate an answer. We do not store conversations. Please do not enter personal or confidential data in the chat. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Cost simulator and booking form. The simulator runs in your browser and sends nothing to us. If you submit the booking form, we receive your name, work email, company, your four answers and, if you used it, your simulator figures, to prepare and arrange the call. The request is stored as a task in Asana, which only the founder can access. Legal basis: steps prior to a contract at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Occasional emails about AI in customer support are sent only if you tick the separate box (consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- Client projects. When we work for you, we process business contact data and, where needed, data contained in your systems, only under a written data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR).
- Website hosting. This website is hosted by Cloudflare. When you visit it, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address and browser information to deliver the site and protect it against abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Fonts. The Sora font is hosted on this website. Your browser does not connect to Google servers to load it.
3. Cookies and tracking
This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. We only store your choice in the privacy notice (Accept or Reject) in your browser's local storage, so the notice is not shown again. You can change it at any time under "Privacy settings" in the footer.
Audience measurement: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit the site, from which country and which pages they read. It sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser, builds no profiles and does not follow visitors across sites. The data is aggregated. Legal basis: legitimate interest in improving the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. Who receives your data
Our service providers: Cloudflare (hosting, chat assistant and audience measurement), Google (booking and email through Google Workspace) and Asana (internal handling of requests and sales follow-up). Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; in that case transfers are covered by the safeguards the providers offer, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
5. How long we keep it
Enquiries and booking data: up to 24 months after our last contact, unless a contract follows. Contract and invoicing records: for the period required by Portuguese tax law.
6. Your rights
You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to hello@seamline.pt. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, CNPD (www.cnpd.pt).
7. Changes
